The 5 city tour was the first time we partnered with Pexels with the goal to meet creators in person, provide opportunity, visibility and connect thousands from the community with each other. Over the 5 meet ups we hosted over a month and a half, we saw over 5000 original photos shared on Pexels and got a chance to on-board and work closely with local photographers, models, stylists, MUA’s, videographers and volunteers that of varied experiences and backgrounds.
“Nothing can replace the sense of passion, commitment and productivity that I’ve seen at these meet ups. Creators thrive to PoP events because there’s a certain expectation we’ve created over time and no matter where we go, we see it. In just 2 years, Pursuit of Portraits has met over 10 thousand people in-person and created impact (not just in impressions or buzzwords but IRL) by placing community-first; supporting talent over trend, diversity over monopoly and humanity over autonomy”, says Saunak Shah; Founder of PoP who led the 5 City Tour.
Below are some of the winners who entered and received cash prizes and Fujifilm X-T30 mirrorless cameras for various themed photo challenges that we hosted for each city meet.
