AS PART OF THE GLOBAL PURSUIT, POP VISITS MEDELLIN, COLOMBIA TO HOST “PURSUIT IN MEDELLIN" IN PARTNERSHIP WITH SELINA MEDELLIN & VISIT SOUTH AMERICA. THE MEET THAT WAS HELD ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 16TH WAS FACILITATED BY LOCAL CREATIVES. IT WAS SIGNIFICANT TO POP BECAUSE IT FEATURED SOME GUEST CREATIVES FROM THE LGBT COMMUNITY.
“Colombia’s LGBT community is emerging and it’s important for us to gain visibility on a global platform such as PoP. What we have here in Medellin is a vibrant, friendly and creative community with so much to give and what people see on the TV (outside of Colombia) is not always the most accurate representation” says Dany Gouttière who is the protagonist behind the character of Acida (@ACIDADEGOUTTIERE) who was one of the the guest models at #PoPxMedellin. For PoP, it is important that we are inclusive of all and having Acida (amongst others) be part of our meet resonates to our mission on the Global Pursuit.
